Attack of the Tards
As some of you may have noticed, this Substack’s been getting trolled by a bunch of Holocaust deniers. It’s no mystery why - a denier site linked to last week’s long-form Holocaust essay, and in fact the guy who runs that site asked permission, which I granted, because I considered it a good way to reach people who might be considering denial, but who are not yet too far gone.
But I knew I’d get trolls, too.
Initially, I tried to ask you guys not to engage the trolls, because those lunatics don’t come here for discussion — they come here to spout memes. These are not rational people, and they cannot be reasoned with. There is nothing you can say to hardcore deniers to change their mind; denial is their secular religion, their Scientology. I’ve answered their points a hundred times, on my old YouTube channel, in my Taki’s column, and here on Substack. Yet still they repeat their memes while parroting the mantra “why won’t you address me, Cole? Why won’t you address my brilliant points? Huh? Huh?”
The fact that I’ve done so repeatedly doesn’t matter. They are NOT here to debate in good faith. Which is why I tried to get you guys to stop engaging them, because it’s attention, not “dialogue,” they crave. Ignore them, they go away. Engage them, well, we saw what happens - more show up, and soon they’re everywhere, like roaches.
This Substack is a place for people to read my work. It is NOT a Holocaust denial message board. These dumbasses breeze in here obviously not having read last week’s essay, because they ask “questions” that are thoroughly answered there. And this is not a place for people who refuse to read David Cole. In fact it’s the exact opposite of that.
Deniers have all of Twitter to themselves, with Musk’s full protection and coddling. They don’t need my Substack too.

Arguing with deniers is like arguing with a “sassy sistuh” who argues like a broken record. They’re both obnoxious and retarded and you’ll get nowhere except getting frustrated or blowing a fuse. Best thing to do is to avoid them and move on.
