I don't often throw out a hallelujah but it was deserved on Tuesday night when so many scumbags, like Gascon, got tossed out of office. Good riddance!

"The catalysts (or ratalysts) of L.A.’s rodent problem are nebbishy Westside Jews, who’ve been complaining to City Hall that feral cats were pooping in their yards, so the city rounded up and euthanized the ferals. Congratulations, Shmuley; you Holocausted the cats and now your backyard’s filled with reminders of what Goebbels thought you looked like." Maybe Art Spegelman can do an updated version of MAUS about it: "The Jews are the mice, and the rats are the, uh, rats!"

Brilliant! Reminds me of the story that during the Black Death villagers resorted to killing cats thinking they were witches. Unfortunately this helped make things far worse as the plague was being spread by rats and killing all the cats caused the rat population to explode.

The question is if the hundred year old Soros has really been the one pulling the levers over the last decade with this really strange cultural "woke" shit coming out of his foundation? Or if he's just the money man sitting in some room in a wheelchair with a nurse in front of a TV playing reruns of Matlock and Murder She Wrote. Is his young son the actual one running the show behind the scenes and he as gone as 'Ole Joe? So when Soros kicks the bucket, very little might actually change as far as the damage coming out of his nihilistic "foundations" and NGOs.

Don't bring up Murder she wrote and George in the same paragraph, he isn't cool enough to watch that show. But I do wonder if he has been the ATM machine for a lot of this for a while enough old rich senile people get put in this situation all the time.

Well, Matlock and Murder She Wrote were mentioned in Better Call Saul in a rather funny bit where he tried to be an Ambulance Chaser for seniors in nursing homes. The implication is your pretty much gone when you spend your time in front of those reruns. My elderly mother and my brother have those UHF stations on with various reruns. I hadn't seen "Gilligan's Island" since I was 10 and can say it hasn't aged well, it's one of the stupidest, brain dead shows ever made and I can't fathom spending time watching that now as an adult.

Tashay's case, where she threw her baby out the window, illustrates why people are fed up with liberals. You take a mother who threw her own fucking baby out the window of a moving car; some liberal asshole judge lets her walk free.

If a conservative white judge kept the mother in jail, in the best interest of the child, the stupid liberals would call him a racist for whitesplaining to a black mother how to be a parent.

It's a black thing, I do not understand.

Hey Dave, have you seen this: “Some Black Women Are Choosing Rest Over Politics” https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/19/well/black-women-harris-trump-election-rest.html

It’s all about how black women are so shocked by Harris’s loss that they’ve decided to eat healthy and start taking up more hobbies.

I've spent a good deal of the past week watching meltdown clips. Am very much loving all these loonies joining the 4B movement. I'm not sure who they think they're hurting with this; my attitude is thankfully they won't be reproducing.

I haven't seen too many rodents here in swamp land. We have been in a drought though. Yesterday morning there were numerous 911 calls about carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms going off thanks to the wildfires. Am hoping the wimpy overnight rain at least helped. We have a huge feral cat population around here which probably helps with rodents. We don't kill cats. We have several vets that will spay/neuter and vaccinate if you trap them. Personally, I'd rather have snakes for vermin control.

What is not commented much on in the media is these days most young black men are heavy marijuana users and it has a TERRIBLE effect on one's character. I can just smell the stuff wafting off of their clothes as they sulk around Walmart and Meijer. These dispensaries are making insanely potent stuff that is so strong you don't need a police dog to detect it anymore, the human nose can do the trick at this potency. Two "brothers" all stoned out and stinking of weed were shopping at Meijer the other day and they seemed to be so zonked out they were incapable of even talking coherently, just these low grunts between each other. Alex Berenson is right about the connection to violence, when someone uses this all the time they become dependent on the chemical to calm them down and their normal neural pathways that put brakes on behavior loose effectiveness. I worked with two young white punks who were heavy users and both were prone to extreme emotional outbursts of anger. Maybe they were naturally volatile, but that is more reason not to make it worse with a psychoactive substance. But that old liberal line I heard them saying back in the 90s how "white youth use drugs at an even higher rate than black youth..." Well, based on personal observation it's rubbish. Pot is virtually ubiquitous among black youth.

I lived in Palmyra from 2003 to 2019. The scariest thing you could do was enter Camden. I worked with a very sweet young Hispanic girl during this time, and she invited me to her son's birthday party. She lived in Camden. Told me that there was no parking on her street and that I would have to park a few blocks away. But no worries, her brothers were gang bangers and would safely escort me to and from. She said this like it was normal which struck me as very sad. I bought the kid a really nice gift and declined the invite.

It's more than just having a father, I work with a middle age, affable black guy who seems fairly reasonable. (but pretty dumb) He's married but some of his kids are out of control, he has to watch them get on the bus or they skip school, one got suspended, etc. He works, his wife is a CDL truck driver so gone a lot and the kids simply pick up the values of the youth in the broader black community that are quite rotten and anti social. I really don't know how to fix it? As an aside, his latest obsession that has gotten a bunch of guys of all races in my workplace hooked are these LEGAL sports betting apps on their phones that allow them to sit there and drain their bank accounts to the predatory gaming industry without even having to get up off their couch!!! I've know some Asians over the years with really bad casino gaming problems and can't believe this stuff is allowed to come right into your home through a smartphone. At least restrict it to a physical casino.

As other alternatives to abortion develop, there is a selection process for those who still rely on abortion. Back in the 1990s, my mother was convinced that as birth control pills developed, abortion would vanish. Women would simply pop a pill the day after an encounter, and there would be no need for surgery.

With the types of pills that exist today, I can agree that no honest, intelligent woman should ever need an abortion surgery. She should be able to plan her life so that, even if she makes an occasional mistake by hopping in with a man who wasn't a good choice, a swift pill the nest day fixes everything. Rare medical cases may occur where she gets to 5 months and is informed that she has some condition which makes it dangerous to go on. But that is unusual.

In the present context the only way she could get to 5 months and then realize that she needs an abortion is if she is either stupid or dishonest. She may have been running back and forth between different men, doing things behind their backs and hoping to persuade one of them that he should marry her. Or she may really not understand why the menstruation stopped. Either way she lands herself in a situation where there's 4 months left before the big day and now, she thinks that she should get an abortion.

I say, let her have it. But the anti-choice crew seems convinced that by forcing her to go ahead that she will be made to learn a lesson about life. In some rare cases, that may even be true. But not often enough to be worth it.

The whole thing the GOP bigwigs in the 2000s living in an Evangelical Bubble in the Sunbelt didn't understand is that today virtually all women have to work a job to survive. Under the claptrap they have been fed in the school systems since the 70s about "all women should have careers as brain surgeons and rocket scientists" the economy has transitioned to requiring all to work to survive, and it's usually wiping off the coffee machine at the truck stop, or watching the self serve registers at Walmart, not nuclear physics like on TV commercials. An unplanned pregnancy is an economic disaster along with a personal embarrassment for most of these working women. An existential threat that whether they ever use it or not, just having legal abortion relieves a certain angst the way having an ejection seat makes flying an experimental jet more palatable.

A friend sent me this in 2017, quite prescient methinks?

See, Trump is a twisted fuck. Sick in his heart, in his mind, in his soul, but he is a winner. You are no doubt laughing now, bc I used that term, but winners win, and some of the time there’s no explaining how, they’re called “gamers”, they look bad in practice, they look bad in pre-game, they may be injured, limping, lethargic, hung-over, puking in a bucket, but then the game starts and they’re just on it, and they attend to the outcome, to the exclusion of all else, and win. THEN, they have their party, maybe by drinking alone, cheap whiskey, from the bottle, in the dark, sharpening their blade (Roman axiom: “after a victory, sharpen your sword”), that’s a common M.O. for gamers. Losers over-plan their parties ahead of time, to the point that the outcome of the contest is left unattended…. Trump sickens and reviles me at times, but he is not the guy WITH the scar, he’s the guy that HANDS OUT the scars (allusion to the ORIGINAL Magnificent 7, not the cheap imitation that came out recently)….Trump is not a Republican, he is pure backlash. He beat THREE parties: Dems, Repubs, AND the Media. He is like a weird alien mutant straight out of a Sci-Fi flick. You hit him with nukes, he gets stronger. You hit him with lasers, he feeds off of the energy and grows stronger. You shoe him in the nuts, he gets an inch taller.
