You’re an acquired taste Dave, you know that, you always take it to 11 to prove a point that things are so absurd that 11 is the new one. I’m not a Nick Fuentes type so the real crazies you haggle with are Greek to me. You did piss me off a number of times with your Tucker and Trump reality checks, and I’m no apostle: no guru, no teacher, no method. But, I had blind spots and that what satirists do. So. As you already know. Fuck ‘em. They mistakenly subscribed and weren’t really ready for the ride you are offering.

Hey Dave , it's me again, your dual subscriber from Texas. I hope you're in your dungeon in front of the green screen, makin' another video, the one where you stirred the beans was quite entertaining, 'specially the part where you told us about Jorge losing his film festival, I almost passed out from laughin' !!!

I suppose when you do post another vid a whole bunch of morons will instantaneously, simultaneously UNTHUBSCRIBE.

So, I don't get my fix because some moron doesn't understand what a subscription is? Thanks moron. Earlier my son was wondering what the death toll would be between Father's Day cookouts and the Juneteenth parade in Philly. I said, "You need to start reading Dave." I share bits and pieces with him, but I think he would really enjoy reading it himself.

The increase in fast food prices, particularly McDonald's. Will put a damper on the amount of black violence, at these establishments. However, it looks like Juneteenth celebrations are going to "pick up the slack". Yesterday in Texas 2 shot dead and 6 wounded at a Juneteenth celebration. Chicago had over 35 people shot, many celebrating Juneteenth.

Yep! Next weekend there'll be a piece tallying up this year's Juneteenth dead. It's a yearly thing now...the Juneteenth funerals.

With all the black people gettin' shot at these Juneteenth festivals, perhaps the shootings are sponsored by the KKK?

I can sympathize. When I was thinking about doing a blog some time ago, a friend told me that he would proactively unsubscribe. It's sort of like getting a note on your online dating profile from someone who says, "Please don't contact me." You write back, "Okay, I won't," and then they write back saying, "Good. Thank you."

Funny, that popped up in my recommendations a few days ago! No, I've never seen a video promo made up 50% of nonexistent films. I've seen printed promos do that, but never a video one. But Cannon was always crooked as hell.

Some one in the comments said of these movie where made later under other names. I was really interested in the dustin Hoffman flick and the white slave. Omg a black man saving a white women from a Turkish slave market. Omg cannon.

None of those unmade films were ever made elsewhere or under another name. The question I'd have as a former film financier middleman is, did Cannon have letters of intent from Hoffman, Norris etc.? Because unless you can show a potential investor a letter of intent (or the next step up, a deal memo) with the A-list star, you literally CAN'T go begging for money for that film because it's so outside the norm of how it's done.

Do you this with how crooked cannon was they would?

That's really great-- someone in the YT comments made these helpful observations about the video:

Actually, 20 of these 29 films (or about two-thirds) actually did get made…eventually:

Over the Top – yes, in 1987. Earned $16.1 million.

La Brava – no. Dustin Hoffman dropped out of the project.

Superman 4 – yes, in 1987. It was flop, earning only $15.7M.

(untitled John Travolta project) – no. Travolta wouldn’t make another movie until “The Experts” in 1989.

Spider-Man - no. Cancelled.

Kick and Kick Back – yes, in 1992 as “Sidekicks”.

52 Pick Up - yes, in 1986. OK reviews, earned $5.2 million.

(untitled Roman Polanski project) – Yes! “Pirates” came out in 1986 and immediately bombed, earning only $1.6M on a $40M budget.

Masters of the Universe – yes, in 1987. Earned $17.3M...the most of any movie on this list!

Housekeeping – yes, in 1987. Made only $1.1M.

Street Smart - yes, in 1987. Got good reviews (especially for Morgan Freeman, in his breakout role) but made only $1.1M.

Duet for One – yes, in 1986. Based on a British play, got good reviews, earned $8,736 (not a typo).

Rumplestiltskin – yes, in 1987. Billy Barty’s only lead role in a motion picture.

Number One With a Bullet – yes, in 1987. Earned $410,952.

Zorba, the Musical – No. A hit on Broadway in 1968 and revived in 1983, but the film never happened.

The White Slave – No. Cancelled.

Journey to the Center of the Earth – yes, in 1989. Albert Pyun finished it. Awful.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 – yes, in 1986. Earned $8M, now a cult classic.

American Ninja 2 – yes, in 1987. Subtitled “The Confrontation”, earned $4M.

Captain America - No. Cancelled.

Tough Guys Don't Dance – yes, in 1987. Norman Mailer directed, based on his book. Earned $343,000 on a $5-10M budget.

North South - yes, in 1988 as “Powaqqatsi”. Earned only $589, 244.

King Lear – yes, in 1987. Directed by Jean-Luc Godard (!) and based not all on Shakespeare’s play. Earned $61,821.

Citizen Joe – no, sadly. Cannon promised a sequel to the original “Joe” as early as 1980 (“Joe II”), but it was never made.

Too Much – yes, in 1987. Filmed in Japan with a mostly Japanese cast, about a little girl and her robot. Box office unknown.

Give a Girl a Break – no. Intended as the film debut of the Dolly Dots, a Dutch all-female rock band, who had many hits in Europe but none in the US.

Sinbad of the Seven Seas – yes, in 1989. Filmed in Italy, box office negligible.

It Ate Cleveland – no. Intended as a spoof; originally titled “Godzilla vs. Cleveland”.

River of Death – yes, in 1989. The director was later fined for shooting in South Africa.

Ben, Bonzo and Big Bad Joe – yes, in 1988 as “Goin’ Bananas”.

I HAVE been wanting, all year, to do more videos. To be honest, one reason I haven't is that I have to cross Ratibor's domain to get to the green screen room. The materials to wall him up arrived last week, but my newest gout, which is finally easing up, prevented me from building it. Once I reclaim that corridor, I'll do a video!

I don't think anyone who doesn't want to read is going to like your videos any better. Me, I haven't seen any of your videos, so maybe they're terrific. It's just hard for me to imagine them being as layered and insightful as your writing. I just watched Kiss's video for "Uh! Wikipedia sez Piper wrote ten books. I wonder if they were ghostwritten or if he wrote them himself. Wiki concludes:

Piper's body was discovered on May 30 or May 31, 2015 at the Budget Saver Motel in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The deputy coroner's report stated that the cause of death was a "probable Myocardial Infarction, Ischemic Cardiomyopathy and Coronary Artery Disease", and listed diabetes as another significant condition. The report indicated that toxicology results were consistent with her findings and that no autopsy was conducted. The article gave Piper's age as 54.
